To keep your spirit healthy, keep your sense of humor healthy. Even laugh at what you don’t have, even if you feel deep inside that you ought to have it.

A group of you decide to hike up a towering mountain. But not all of you agree on the best path to take, so you split up. Eventually you reach the top and experience the joy and glory of being one with The Everlasting.

The mountain is the way to reach your highest religious and spiritual experience. Those in other groups might eventually reach the top and experience the same elation you did. It doesn’t matter which way they chose to reach the top. They got there.

If you feel you’re on the right path, keep on it and don’t let anyone convince you to deviate. It’s also not right for you to try to convince others to take your path if they are ascending. However, if your path doesn’t appear to be taking you to the top, be open to changing your course. The joy of reaching your destination is your goal, not how you got there.

You don’t need a special gift to have a meaningful life.

If you love and have common sense, you won’t need anything else.
