If a good deed seemed to go unappreciated, it doesn’t matter. You know it was the right thing to do. That’s what makes you  good.

Convictions which you feel emotional and passionate about define you to others. If your feelings should change, do you think your character and soul will suffer? No. Strength of mind and individuality are not defined by herd mentality. Emotions should work WITH your mind, not over it.

In The World To Come you will be judged by your compassion, acceptance, and love toward ALL life. This is acting in the manner of what American Indians called The Great Spirit In The Sky. It is sanctimonious to believe that those who act and think differently than you are less meaningful to that Spirit. Consider that.

Every action you take which benefits others, not you, brings a special gift.  Each of those deeds enhances your soul, imparting greater harmony and joy in your world.

Denying the existence of a Higher Power is to deny you are the beneficiary of acts done on your behalf. The lives around you had a large part in your good fortune, and contributed through a force greater than you alone.

Accept this. Be grateful for what you have and how you got it. Others may have more than you, yet you still have a lot to appreciate. Don’t take all the credit, just as you can’t take credit for not being born into extreme poverty or left to die. 

Don’t let unhealthy thoughts manipulate your soul. That holds especially true if you allow immoral actions to rule over you.

A king is powerless if he has no subjects.

Opportunities can suddenly come your way, and leave just as quickly. Tomorrow will soon become yesterday, so don’t procrastinate and thinking you had your chance and blew it.

When opportunity comes where you can follow a dream, seize it. Don’t give reasons why you didn’t. They’re not really reasons, they’re excuses!

You were given your life to make your spiritual imprint. Don’t let it slip away.

You are royalty, the monarch of your own kingdom. Your subjects include your thoughts, feelings, and actions. It’s not easy to keep peace in your realm, but you have the power to do it. Rule well.

When you have a really good friend, part of their soul dwells in yours.

You may have doubted the existence of God at some point, but your soul never did. And when you leave this world for a better one, a blessed light will envelop you and your soul. You’ll realize The Almighty has always looked over you and loved you, and will do so forever.

Respect those giving charity to the poor, the needy, the sick or the elderly. This includes our government. They should govern by example, so don’t speak ill of them for giving some of your tax money to those desperately needing it. This is not “liberal” thinking, it’s benevolent thinking. It acts in the image of the Almighty, and your soul will smile.
