Being jealous or envious of someone is a sign of insecurity. You have no valid reason to harbor self doubt because you have a singular quality which no one else has, and others might hold a hidden admiration of you which you will never know about. Believe it. It’s true. Others know it.
A kind act creates an effect which resonates to the greatest of energy sources and to the highest of worlds. That act will come back to you in some way. A kind word at the right time can prevent a car collision, a flood, or even a war.
When you do or say something kind today it will, in some way, make a warm and positive difference in the world – even if that change is imperceptible to you.
There are two kinds of tests in life: Those you know are coming, and those suddenly thrust upon you. With the former, you can pass the test by preparing for it. With the latter, passing it depends on how well you can deal with it. There lies the true spirit of who and what you are. Your success becomes based not on anticipation but on your mental, emotional, and spiritual predisposition.
There is one quality we all possess which is our greatest motivator, and it’s often all-consuming: Greed? Revenge? Loyalty? Survival? We could name many others.
But the most wondrous quality we have is love. It can completely envelop you. And no matter how much you give, you cannot deplete it.
Love what you do and feel that it matters. Nothing in your life could be more fun.
The atom is so very small that it seems insignificant. Do you sometimes feel that way? Don’t be intimidated by people who try to make you feel small and insignificant. Just as the tiny atom can emit great energy, you have the ability to emit Divine energy! Work at it and you can change your world.

But your soul can’t be so easily duped. It can see through veils of illusion. Its connection to Universal Energy can make you “see” what your eyes can’t – through your intuition. This is your soul at work, and it’s your greatest gift. Trust it.
A great kindnesses is visiting a nursing home. Tell the charge nurse you’d like to spend a little time with one who never receives visitors (they miss outside contact), and show your vaccination card. If they won’t allow you in their room, ask if they can come to the lobby or outside garden.
Talk to the resident, even if they’ve lost their physical or verbal skills. When you leave, they may not seem appreciative. But you will have given them an amazing gift – the desire to stay alive. Your spirit will feel refreshed, no matter what your life is like – and so too the one you spent some time with.
A major crime against your spirit and soul, sometimes worse than murder or robbery, is senseless hatred. It’s disturbing because we frequently accept it with a shrug, or simply ignore it. This makes it very dangerous, as it can spread like a nasty virus.
However, this be overcome through Love. If a negative inclination starts to take over you, give Love time to repress it. Feel Love; embrace it; offer it freely and often. Love is the universal energy which redeems you, so rid yourself of senseless hate by giving and receiving lots of Love today.
