The urge to do evil, to sin, is in all of us. But it’s possible to remove the urge from that devil.  You can ignore it, or acknowledge that it weighs on you but you can handle the load. But some of us can’t do that.

That devil lurks all around us, so we must always be on our guard. If you get angry, that’s okay but get over it. If you feel like a tightwad because you want to buy stuff but know you shouldn’t, that’s okay but get over it. If he enters you, that’s okay because it happens to all of us. Just make sure you get him to leave.

The evil around you is strong, but you can rule over it. And by learning to do this, you can use this power for your benefit.

Life is a game of soccer and you are a star player on the team with those around you. To be satisfied and happy with your game, you must score a goal. Look at the net and focus on it. The net is your goal in life, the field is your place here on earth, and the movements of the ball are your actions. To be successful you must maneuver yourself on the field and put the ball in the net. When you do this, you have scored – not just for you, but for the team.

If your car gets stuck in the mud, with your wheels spinning but you’re going nowhere, what do you do? You look around for something to wedge in front of your tires, then patiently step on the accelerator. If that doesn’t work, you search for something else. When you find the right thing you will get unstuck and quickly move on to your destination.

If your life feels like a stuck car, with your wheels spinning but you’re going nowhere, look around you. Search for the right thing, the right person, or the right idea. What you need is out there. If you don’t find it at first, keep searching. Don’t give up! It’s out there and you can find it. Then you can get unstuck and quickly move on to your destination in life.

If someone asked you for a loan, would you agree? You would probably think it depended on who that person was. If was someone you didn’t know well, you would be afraid of losing your money.

But what if that person had guarantors? If you felt you could rely on them, you most likely would give that person a loan.

And what if the guarantor was the Government of the United States? Then you would definitely give that person a loan, as you would have total confidence you’d get your money back.

When you give charity, you are, in effect, extending a loan to the ‘Government of the Universe’. When you give graciously to the poor, you are extending a loan guaranteed by The Almighty. He will repay all that is due you, including interest. In this world, He will ensure you get back what you loaned. In the next world, you will get the full interest on your loan.

When science discovered how to unleash the power of the atom, we learned that size doesn’t always relate to power. What matters is knowing how to unleash the tremendous energy hidden within the tiniest of things.

You can unleash that energy within you as well, and not though science. The secret is to limit your ego, allowing your inner, Divine essence to come through. This will generate tremendous energy among the seven billion others on our planet.

You are that small atom among billions. Within you lies the power to create a positive and powerful change in our world.

If an associate gave you a gift of $100,000, would you be bitter? Of course not. You’d be very grateful. If that associate then gave $250,000 to a mutual friend of yours, you shouldn’t be resentful because they got more than you. You got $100,000! You will make the most of it.

Now, if someone you deeply care for appears to give more affection to a mutual friend, you shouldn’t feel bitter about that. That friend may be more needier than you, as you are much closer to more people than your friend is. Enjoy to the fullest the love you share with the one you care for. It’s special. Be grateful you have that. And your soul will make the most of it.

There are people in your world waiting for a good leader. . . and that leader is you.

So what are you waiting for? It’s not too late to step up and take charge. Energize your mind and soul to show that you are ABLE to be the leader certain people are waiting for.

A: Act – Do things which have a positive effect
B: Behave – People should look at you with respect and admiration. You should be an example to others
L. Love – You mustn’t be cold. You must exhibit empathy and warmth
E: Educate – Not just others, but yourself as well.

The more you know, the more you can convey to others

You have the energy to be stronger than you imagine, the wisdom to be patient when you realize you are not bound by time, and an enormous amount of intensity created from your passions. You have been endowed with these qualities. They lie inside of you. Search deep within and retrieve them. Then you can change whatever you want outside of you.

Don’t look at your life by the days you have filled it with. Your past holds memories.

To instill spiritual fervor, look at your day by the life you will fill it with Your future holds exhilaration.

Why do people feel so good after leaving a church, mandir, mosque, synagogue, temple, or any place to get together to pray? Because when people pray together, their spirits join in. They reach a spiritual state which is different from solitary prayer. That doesn’t mean it’s better than praying alone, it’s just different.

Group prayer is a path to glimpse the true nature of Heaven. That is when we become part of a holy essence. We can feel it all around us. It’s a holy energy. We become harmonious and unified with other souls when praying with them.

Can you imagine what it would be like if we all lived in harmony and unity? We would become one with the Eternal One. The Energy of the Universe would manifest itself. May that happen in our lifetime, Amen.

Until then, feel that awesome energy by praying with others.
