If you feel doing something for your friends shows kindness on your part, you are bringing up negative spirituality in your soul. Having a friend means having a commitment to that relationship, and that also means having an obligation to him/her.

You know the saying, “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. Being a friend means being there when you are needed; and the closer your friend, the greater your obligation should be. A true friend will be there, not out of kindness but out of commitment.

When you do something out of kindness, what you are doing is keeping your independence and doing things on your terms. This is neither commitment nor obligation. This is keeping your control over the situation.

You are very fortunate if you have good friends. Cherish them. Don’t do things for them because you feel you are being kind. Do things for them because they know you will keep your commitment to them.

When people are in a lot of pain, the Divine Judge does not hold them accountable for what they may think or say. Considering the adversity they are suffering, they are given mercy for the thoughts which come into their minds and the words which come out of their mouths.

When you are with someone going through horrible pain, be lenient if they say something which feels hurtful to you. Don’t take it personally. You might feel wounded because you are receiving some of the anguish they are going through. But it is your compassion which is taking it in, and therefore you should be forgiving. You see, this is when your soul shows its purpose.

Jewelry can be a greater significance to you than just an adornment.

The ring on your finger should be a spiritual reminder to point. When pointing outward, take some responsibility to point to a better path to travel down when someone you care about appears to be going in a wrong direction. When pointing inward, take time to reflect on what you are doing and where you are going. You should be moving in a spiritual direction which is pleasing to the Almighty.

Earrings should be a spiritual reminder to listen to others, whether young or old. There is always some importance to be found somewhere in their words. You have a spiritual duty to empathize with their thoughts and feelings. This brings their souls closer to you, which in turn brings you closer to the Infinite.

Your necklace is the piece closest to your heart. Each day when you touch it, remember to touch the heart of someone else. This will put a piece of heaven with you here on Earth.

Wear your jewelry as a physical adornment, but remember it is also there to embellish your soul.

There are times when we must stand up for our principles, and take action requiring chutzpah (a huge amount of audacity). Just be careful when acting that way;you might be seen as being impudent. But having chutzpah to fight for what is ethically and morally right can be a sign that you have great spirituality.

Today we live in a spiritually hostile environment. Without some chutzpah, you’ll be swallowed up by our corrupt society. We all have chutzpah inside of us. So bring it on when it’s important to preserve your spirituality. Go on, you can do it! You know you want to.

Having a close relationship with your parents shouldn’t be based on you feeling that it’s compulsory. It is based on the hard fact that you are their offspring. You have an obligation to them because if not for them you wouldn’t exist. Think about that.

If either of your parents is alive, honor your mother or father by doing something good for them – out of the gratitude you should feel because you are alive. If they have passed, honor them through prayer and by remembering the good times you shared together.

The same honor should hold true for Our Father.

Mi casa es tu casa: My house is your house. We say this when being gracious.

We live in a world where Universal Energy is all around us. Seek out and feel the good there. We are one, and we live in One.

Mi mundo es tu mundo: My world is your world. On a grander scale, feeling this way towards others is more than gracious, it’ s reverent.

Some people walk into a room looking like they own it. They do – and so do you. You have spiritual energy surrounding you from two to four feet. You definitely have it, and only you own it.

So when you walk into a room, don’t shrink. Walk in with confidence, assured you are emitting spiritual energy. Others will feel it, and they will gravitate towards you because you also own that room. No one can take that away from you.

Become a midwife so you can become a mathematician. You don’t have to be a woman. You don’t need specialized education nor formal training.

Midwives have a valuable role because they help bring a new life into the world. When you elevate people to joy or gratitude, you help bring new life into their world. This lifts your life to a new and higher level. Now you have multiplied life by two.

Be a spiritual midwife and you will become a spiritual mathematician.

Most people don’t know their mission in life. Frequently their day of death has more significance than their day of birth. Why? When their life is over their purpose was made clear; and hopefully they achieved it.

When you are born you don’t know how your life will turn out because of your free will and the choices you will make. But there is a spiritual baseline to live by, so you should do good as often as possible. This is your path to contentment; by satisfying your soul instead of trying to satisfy the expectations of others.

When you admire someone who did a lot of good in their life, let him/her inspire you to take their ideals and make them part of your vision. Don’t try to imitate that person – you are you, not them. But use their knowledge to do as much good as you can in your life.
